FYI📣 Are you seeing an influx in feral cats in your neighborhood? Are you a trapper who is helping with feral cat colonies? We in conjunction with Hartwood Animal Hospital & Littlepage Animal Hospital are hosting a Trap & Release event this Sunday 7/16/23 to help. There is no charge for the event. You are invited to email kincheloeclinicdesk@gmail to be sent forms ahead of time. DONATIONS are welcome as we are a nonprofit 501 (c) & every donation goes to helping keep dogs and cats healthy. Certain rules must be followed and please be kind as these doctors and staff members are volunteering their time to help. *********************************This is for feral cats only! No house cats. You would not want your house cats in the mix of this anyway. Drop off is 7:30 - 8:30 amYou will get a call when cats can be picked up. Please clear voicemails etc to expect a call. If you don’t hear from us be there no later than 6:00 pm. Cats must be in a trap, not a carrier or kennel. Traps can be purchased at tractor supply, or sometimes lent out from animal shelters. Traps must be labeled clearly with owners name (trappers name etc) phone number, & the cats name. We need to know who they belong to & which traps they go back into.Only one cat per trap even if they’re kittens. Please cover your traps with a lightweight, blanket or towel. This helps to keep the cat calm. —> This service will include a spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, and an ear tip. The ear tip is nonnegotiable. <—Any other services requested will have a fee associated. Ex: fluids, FVRCP, testing, ear cleaning antibiotics, flea meds etc We ask for everyone to line up in a single file line outside with your animals to the best of your ability. Successful Adoption Event

Last week, July 19 – 25, was adoption week for PetSmart. We put cats and kittens in the cages and on the weekend had an adoption event at PetSmart in Central Park. During the week and weekend event we had 27 adoptions! Thanks to all our volunteers and our kitty’s new families.

Fundraiser for Inky

Inky is a sweet 1 year old girl who already had one litter of kittens and was on her way to a second when she had complications. A bowel blockage took the second litter of 6 babies and almost took her life too. Thanks to VVS in Charlottesville and surgeon Kevin Stiffler she has a chance to life a good long life. Help us pay her surgery bill.
